Silver Age plays all original power pop / rock music.

The band was fouded by guitarist/vocalist Billy Keller ( formerly of Sister Solei ), drummer Steve Pope and bassist Jon Kooker (formerly of Dovetail Joint). Later, the local & legendary guitarist, Bob Richter joined the project as well as Laura Hollingsworth on vocals and keys.

In 2023, Jon had to leave Chicago for his marketing gig @ Yamaha Music in LA.

New for 2024, we are pleased to announce the newest member of the band, ‘Masta’ Chris Shen.

While some members have played professionally in signed & touring acts, Silver Age exists to write and perform music that moves us all without the anxiety of record label or commercial expectations. 

Influenced by artists from Foo Fighters, Bob Mould, The Cure, David Bowie and others, Silver Age music has evolved into a different category altogether, but with one common denominator—it will move you.
